Finding the perfect dog costume is hard. Making the perfect dog costume is even harder. Here are a few ideas for your pup this Halloween.

  1. Dobby the House Elf

If your dog has long ears and is a little lanky, Dobby the House Elf is a perfect costume. All you need is a pillowcase or a sheet and sock. I wrapped the pillowcase around my dog and secured it with a safety pin. Your dog may or may not lose the sock.

  1. Mummy

Toilet paper and patience are the ingredients for this costume. Be sure that your dog stays standing up because when they sit down, all of it could fall off.

  1. Poop Factory

This is a little bit of an inside joke between my dog and I. If you have a grudge against your dog, this is the perfect costume. The materials I used are: a cardboard box, markers, and construction paper.

  1. Kissing Booth

Your dog already licks everything, so might as well make some money from it. The cuteness and the ease of this costume make this one of the top go-to costumes for dogs. The only materials needed are a cardboard box, scissors, and a few markers.

  1. Einstein

Einstein was a genius, right? If you dress up your dog as him, maybe they’ll be a genius too. Make sure that you secure the wig properly. Not only is this costume cute, it is also a learning experience. This costume taught me how to tie a tie.
