The Greenville Drive will be hosting the South Carolina Gamecocks vs. the Clemson Tigers, March 3, 2018, at 3:00 PM. The gates open at 1:30 PM. For this game, South Carolina is the designated visiting team and Clemson is the designated home team.

Clemson has consecutively won two battles between the teams at Fluor Field. Also, they won the face-off in 2013. Though Clemson has been coming in hot, South Carolina does not disappoint in the fact that they have won four previous matchups between the teams at Fluor Field. Both teams bring forth players to watch. Clemson presents sophomore Logan Davidson, juniors Seth Beer, Grayson Byrd, and Ryley Gilliam, and senior Chris Williams. South Carolina also showcases their players like sophomore Carlos Cortes, juniors Adam Hill, T.J. Hopkins, and Jacob Olson, and senior Jonah Bride. Each of these boys has talents used to intimidate the other team.

During, before, and after the game, The Drive will also be hosting the “Reedy River Rivalry Tailgate Party” on Main Street. The fun begins at 12:00 PM. Both Clemson and USC will have tables full of exciting, interactive games and displays on hand. Food, drinks, live music, and fun for fans of all ages will be offered throughout the day. Senior Hannah Wassynger stated, “I am usually not a big fan of baseball, so since The Drive is offering more things to do at the game, I am more excited to attend and support my team.”

The Greenville Drive has just introduced a new bag rule for every sporting event. Fans will be allowed to bring in a single clear bag no larger than 12″ by x 6″ x 12″ or a one-gallon clear freezer bag, similar to a Ziploc. If fans do not have access to a clear bag, they may carry a miniature clutch or purse no larger than 6.5″ x 4.5″.

Whether a Tiger or Gamecock at heart, make sure to take the opportunity to head on down to The Drive and have an experience of a lifetime.
