A Hidden Gem: The Rincon Latino
April 11, 2018
Latin food has always been popular in the United States. Anyone who is interested in finding a new destination that serves Latin food should try Rincon Latino, a true gem just waiting to be mined.
Rincon Latino is located on Easley Bridge Road in Greenville. They have many different types of meals that represent Central and South America cultures. They serve many traditional Honduran and Salvadoran breakfasts that are very popular. For lunch, I recommend starting out by ordering a natural drink of horchata, pina, melon, or tamarindo, and ordering an appetizer of either chips with guacamole, or dip of frijoles.
Looking through the menu, many are unable to choose the meal they desire due to so many delicious choices. In any case, for those who are unable to choose, the famous Honduran plate of Pollo Con Tajadas is a common favorite. All of these meals have been rated with good reviews. Sophomore Josselyn Cruz praised the restaurant by saying, “Overall, I really love the food there. Yeah, it may take a little longer to be served by the servers because the restaurant is really popular, but they are very friendly and the food is worth waiting. I would definitely recommend the restaurant to someone else.”
Along with the multitude of delicious meal options, the service that is shown by the servers is amazing and compliments the atmosphere nicely. They are open from Monday to Thursday from 9am to 9 pm, Fridays and Saturdays from 9 am to 9:30 pm, and Sundays from 9 am to 8:30 pm.
