Delicious coffee, a captivating environment, and wonderful service can all be said about my latest trip to Bridge City Coffee. Located on 1520 Wade Hampton Boulevard, this charming cafe has a menu with a range that appeals to all sorts of customers. Whether one absolutely loves coffee or despises it, Bridge City Coffee has a drink for everyone.

Accompanied by my close friend, junior Emily Plumblee, my experience at Bridge City Coffee was one to remember. At first glance, it does not look like much, but inside the shop there is a delightfully modern setup, contrary to how it seems from the outside. I ordered my signature iced chai latte while Emily ordered a simple hot chocolate. Both drinks were made exactly to our liking, and my friend and I enjoyed our drinks surrounded by a unique and engaging environment. Emily recalled her experience as being “…different than I had expected in the best ways. They served the best hot chocolate and the workers were very sweet.” The staff was incredibly friendly and personable and asked questions to make sure they made our drinks exactly how we wanted.

Not only does this shop sell coffee in-store, but they also sell blends on their website and will begin to partner up with local establishments to sell throughout the community as well.

With all this being said, I still cannot say that Bridge City Coffee comes free of flaws. While it is not the only coffee shop to overprice, my bill was surprisingly high, considering I ordered one simple drink. The strengths, however, definitely the steep prices. The drinks were delicious, and despite the price, we truly had a wonderful experience at this one-of-a-kind cafe. Those who are still skeptical should go ahead and visit Greenville’s very own Bridge City Coffee for themselves, for I guarantee those who visit will not be disappointed.
