Dear animal neglectors,

Why do you think this is okay? It was not okay in the past, not now, and not ever. You can not, under any circumstances, leave your animals outside in the cold. Do not try to tell us that it is okay because they have a coat of fur. When you go outside for a long period of time wearing your big coat but still get cold. Think about how that is how these poor animals feel. These pets grow up thinking that you are the most amazing thing in the world and nothing could be better than being with you and nothing could be worse than being without you. But, then you leave them outside to freeze. Poor little puppies or kittens crying out for help, hoping someone will come to save them. Your pet deserves to be warm and inside just like you are when it is cold outside.

If your animal is always outside and it does not come inside, maybe you could bring them in for a change or you create a warm shelter for them in your garage or elsewhere. No one deserves to freeze outside, not even your pets. If you let them outside to go to the bathroom or take them for a walk that is fine, just remember to bring them back inside with you. If you go into the store and they cannot go in with you, do not take too long so they will not freeze. Or you can leave them in the car with it running so they have no chance of freezing at all. Animals that are adapted to living indoors should not have to freeze outside just because they are animals. They are also living beings that have adjusted to being inside just like you have. So please do the right thing, be a good person, and stop leaving your pets outside to freeze.

Sincerely,

Someone who loves animals and wants to see them in the best conditions.
